I've got the garage floor (radiant heat) set at 60* It was 49* air temp in there this morn. so I built a fire while I was plowing. Got it up to 60*..... not t-shirt temp but was quite comfortable with a flannel shirt on.

Too cold for salt to work....it's -11 right now.

Nice units. I would look at one but the 30.06 won't do what I want. Not that I don't like that round I really do but not for long range stuff.

the 30.06 is a magnum round. it existed before there was such a designation. with the proper load and the proper equipment, it will go 1000 yards, accurately, no problem.

A 220gr 30.06 will have a 6 inch drop at 1k Meters, I am after a flatter round.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind having another 30.06, ya can never have too many but I am after something a little more surgical.

Surgery with a spoon sounds messy.

Conveniently, if you're doing surgery on someone with a spoon, you're probably aiming for messy.....pun fully intended :)

Hmmm, power steering juice was low enough the pump was groaning on the GTS, AND there aren't any spots on the garage floor, or any leaks that I can find. Does that mean the boots on the rack filled up?
