Woohoo! Mom and dad arrived in AZ tonight with a shiny red car on the trailer! :)
No splatted bugs?
You tradin out the 44 for the Beetle? Or tryin to fill the garage to help hold off on a bus or 911 so you can find a good deal.
Better not! I need pix of the dash and shifter!!!
Dave, do all the regulars with 911s on this list have one of your shifter knobs?
Nope. Hey! Why not?!?!?!? :p
Yeah, why not???
Would put one in my 928, but the shift knob cover and boot are one piece. The 928s I've seen with a decorative knob looks horrible because the boot does not connect to the knob and the ugly lever is exposed. You would have to come up with some type of collar/mount that holds the boot up to the bottom of the knob. |
It's in the works... ;) I've been working on a shift boot bushing in my head.

That review reminds me of a friend's tale of trying to rid himself of saber-toothed crotch crickets using rubbing alcohol.

Big block of dry ice.
