Ok my attempt at being a smart ass went all wrong coast again.

Rick V 06-02-2014 05:02 PM

My bad....

Porsche-poor 06-02-2014 05:03 PM

Nah. But can I be a burn out at 47 and a Monday?

Rick V 06-02-2014 05:06 PM

It is to be expected or you have a really good script.

Porsche-poor 06-02-2014 05:13 PM

Nope drugs not that good.

Every car I've ever owned the rear tires wear out faster than the fronts. The only thing that really changed when I started autocrossing is the wear of the outside edges on the fronts started matching the rear tire wear. When I got new tires I swapped the mounting on the rims of the front tires to move the less worn edge to the outside.

Apple used to force their employees to take a 1 month sabbatical after 7 years to keep from getting burn out. It was not part of their regularly accrued vacation time, and they could cash in unused vacation for money to spend on their sabbatical.

After 33 years working at the same company I venture to say I've gotten job burn out about 3 times.

Noticed today the GTS is bleeding. There is a large red puddle under the front of the car. Seems it's time for a new/rebuilt rack. Dad gum 20 yo cars.

Last week a nice 89 928GT sold for $50K at a Mecum auction. That's more than I paid for my 94 GTS 5 years ago and a GTS is worth more. Car values are going back up!

Dated a girl that didn't like handling balls.

Must have been an early night.

RKDinOKC 06-02-2014 08:53 PM

Dad always told me that if I wasn't in bed by 10pm to go home and get some sleep.
