I hate people....and Brussel sprouts
|
Congrats on the new arrival, Richard. It looks great!
I'm jealous, David...I'd love to see Jeff Beck in concert. Been a fan since his days in the Yardbirds. Oh, yeah, I love Brussel sprouts. Mmmmmm. |
I bet you really hate Veggie Tales. That Brussel Sprouts acting like People.

Whew.
I got into the garage and attacked the fuel pump problem at 12:45. I put two buckets as the base and put one tire on top of the buckets. Lowered the Elky and loosened the straps. I finally am ready to put the tank back into the vehicle at 7:30. I had to stop to mow the yard. I will finish the Elky tomorrow. |
Oh, and Rick, it is your fault! You screwed up and forgot to remind me to get a fuel pump filter sock. I had to make a run to the parts store because you forgot to remind me. Everyone know any mechanical problem must be because Rick screwed up. I thought I made a mistake once but I was wrong.
Of course I got the dummy at the parts store. He took 15 minutes to find the filter sock in the computer. That has to be Rick's fault as well. |

Hulk smash!
God, I'm going nuts on my downtime from the gym.....I might kill people..... |
The bathroom contractor came back today. The floor's now ready for the electrician to measure up the under tile heating - woohoo!
Next, the plumber has to come back to fit the new puddle flange  |
A lot of burping going on here and it's not all because of the beer. Expired ranch dressing will do that to a person. Ugh.
|
G'day Dave.
I've harvested the last of our humongous oranges, and pruned the tree. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1407651068.jpg Bloody thing thinks it's spring already, and has buds all over it? |

Wow. First time i turned on the radio on the Cayenne it was already tuned to the local station I usually listen to, AND they were playing ZZTop! Some kind of omen?
This thing rides and drives SO much better than the Rover it is insane. Turns as crisp and flat as the 928. Can still tell it has a torque converter adding power back in to exit a corner. I did find a real problem I am going to have to solve though. Park SUV on left side of garage for access to both drivers and passenger doors. 928 is parked on right side, pull 928 out of garage for Mom to get in though she does not ride in the 928 often as it is to low for her. The X3 and Range Rover passenger front door lined up so I could put a padded cover on driver's side mirror of 928 and that is stop for SUV passenger door, protecting the paint on the 928. Passenger door on Cayenne is farther back and does not line up with the padded mirror, arrgh. Going to have to at least re-arrange the stuff in the garage. Guess it was time to clean and re-arrange anyway. |
Well...this is either motivation or smash fodder for Joe...
This is co-worker that is going for a body building title. Claims his trainer would only let him post his arm. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...83543628_n.jpg His forearm is bigger than my thigh. |
Is muscle bound when you get so big you can't wipe your own butt?
|
Good looking rig Richard, glad it worked out for ya.
Attended a wedding yesterday that was very Appalachian, in a snake charmer cult kind of way. It is strange to be around people that actually believe in something so deeply that they have visions and LSD isn't involved. (or mushrooms, my personal favorite) |
Mushrooms, the kinder, gentler hallucinogen.
