but nice sunny days have meant that I have taken Marilyn out with the top down every day it hasn't rained, except yesterday, had to drive Steve up to Annapolis to get some minor surgery on his face. No biggie, just some cancers cut out, damn Aussie sunshine. |
Cancers cut out...left eye and right eye? ? |
left temple toward eyebrow, very nasty looking incision lots of tiny little stitches, atm his left eyebrow is not moving, apparently there is an 80 percent chance it is now a fixed ornament on his brow! :( Apparently the growth was wrapped around the nerve. |

Found some cheap 22's. Found a good deal on some tires that come highly recommended by the Cayenne boards at Discount Tire. They mounted and road force balanced for only $16, but wouldn't put em on the Cayenne because the load rating is 25lbs a wheel lower than Porsche's spec. arrrgh. Got one wheel swapped and when I went to lift the truck for the next one my 30 yo Sears floor jack blew out. Nothing is ever easy. Went over to Glen's Garage and we got the other 3 wheels swapped. Thanks again Glen. Guess I'm going to have to change my name cuz I'm rollin solid with 22s. Maybe Pimp Stick. http://www.zipbang.com/955S/nightwheels.jpg They ride great, can hardly wait to see it in daylight. |

Or maybe the Donk. :) |

Good FRIDAY! morning. Think I discovered proof some sort of ant-gravity device does exist! http://chivethebrigade.files.wordpre...pg?w=550&h=835 |

^^^ Yeesh, I hope some of that is Photoshop. That is just freaky wrong ^^^ TGIF! Those are some big ol' rims bro. As tight as some of of the old lug nuts were I am real glad I had a impact gun handy. |
You saw my 4 ft breaker bar I had to use on the lugs I took off on the first wheel didn't you? |
I would for sure read up on the manual and see about anti-seeze on those lug nuts. Just a very thin coating. There is some corrosion already and with a torque spec of 120 pound feet I don't see those lugs coming loose. Just take off one lug at a time and work your way around the vehicle. The re-torque them in a month to check them. |

morning all. Off to earn a wage. |

David, we have your weather here again. It is drizzling and 57 degrees. It was almost enough to make me want to put on jeans. But since it is casual Friday I stuck with my shorts and t-shirt. Of course that is what I have worn everyday since getting back from Monterey. |
Sunny and low 80's here. Already the most I have driven the 911 in Sept. I hope it lasts for Sid and Tweeze. |
It's a Chamber of Commerce day here in the Nation's Capital. |
 Are they working? |
 Hahahaha! You're funny! |
It looks like my Elky will be ready this afternoon after 3:00 PM. The 911 is out in the rain again. I guess that is why the factory installed windshield wipers. |

Raining and 45* here today. Oh joy. I don't mind the 45* part, but I don't like the rain to go with it. Might have to grab a jacket if this keep up. Richard, you should convert to a center nut like the Carrera GT. One more week and off to Austin. I hate traveling for work. |
