Sorry Rick, I missed your post before heading out. We just took the trail to Compton Peak. Beautiful day for hiking.

If you're going to slam and chop it, might as well tub it out and go BIG on the wheels...

Well the ground hornets that moved into the back yard while I was gone decided they were not fans my my tractor. Ouch a couple of times. When night falls it is on like donkey kong. Chemical death from above will befall the sorry ass little squatters. They had to go and be all stingie with me instead of just coexisting peacefully.

azzarule 09-14-2014 02:34 PM

they picked on the wrong guy there that's for sure!

"Sick em Rex!!"

Jeff will understand!

All I done outside was change the oil in my air compressor and wash the Porsche.

Late shift this week, and I haven't done shift work for some time

'spose a change is as good as a holiday.

slodave 09-14-2014 05:33 PM

Some late afternoon fun in the neighborhood. 104*F (40C). Never a dull moment living in in the mountains with no water and hot temps.

Glad you saw the ad Rick.

Lucky they were straight on to that fire Dave, at 104FFFFFF if it had been windy you might have been in big trouble, lucky they were quick.

slodave 09-14-2014 06:25 PM

9kts right was gusting to 16 when the fire broke out.

azzarule 09-14-2014 06:51 PM

well lucky they put it out quickly then, those sorts of conditions can really help a fire get away.

So it was the regulator then, oh well, I will put that symptom away in my memory banks, sure it will happen one day.

Night all.

slodave 09-14-2014 07:08 PM

Looks like the regulator did fail. That alternator has to be over 15 years old.

RKDinOKC 09-14-2014 09:05 PM

Gusting to 16 is just a light breeze here in OK.

slodave 09-14-2014 09:32 PM

Gusting to 16 is nothing out here either, except when there is a fire. :)

GH85Carrera 09-15-2014 05:23 AM

Good Monday morning folks.

Another week to earn a paycheck.

RKDinOKC 09-15-2014 05:35 AM

Its two more weeks before I get my paycheck and some may say it's debatable whether I've earned it.

Grrrrr....Monday

This Friday be talk like a pirate day.
