Morning Y'all. The only thing that hurts me on long road trips is my lower back if I forget to take my wallet out of my pocket beforehand. Once the back starts up I am screwed. As long as I start out with no wallet I am good to go.

Morning, y'all. IMO, Porsche comfort seats are generally crap for longer road trips. My wife and I were only comfortable on long trips when we had Recaro Pole Positions in our 73E. Our Jetta came with Recaro sport seats, and they've been comfortable on long trips (coast-to-coast).

Rick's right on target with removing the wallet. When I drive our 964 garage queen, I pull out my wallet right away. That seems to help a lot.

Well Jim, with your stuffed wallet you need to have it in the trunk anyway. :)

I have one of those wallet phone cases so my 'wallet' is always riding in my front left pocket. I do have to disarm before a longer road trip though. I tend to carry my spoon at 4-5 o'clock and that can get pretty uncomfortable in a car, I'll usually put the spoon between seat and center console for fast access.

Get a slim wallet and front pocket carry Rick. That helped my back too.

I don't get all the fuss over Isis. Seem like a bunch of drubken sex crazed spies. ;)

I carry something like this with only 4 cards including my driver's license and insurance card. Keep my cash in a front pocket.

The one I have was much cheaper and called a card wallet. Never have a problem with sitting on my wallet since I slimmed it down And started carrying my cash in a front pocket. Used a money clip for a while, now don't even mess with that.

Started with a card wallet that was just slots in the leather on either side, but the exposed edges of the cards got too worn so thickened up a little to one that folds like the one above. Biggest thing was to stop carrying all the crap I rarely needed.

When I pay with a card I usually comment "See my Obama wallet, no pocket for money."

I carry one if these. Nice and thin even with cards and some cash.

Mine is like their ID wallet without the bill pocket. Really helped to move the cash out of my wallet.

Just this last week near OKC some lunatic tried to convert co-workers and was fired. He came back and beheaded the receptionist. He started to behead a second woman and the COO shot him 3 times. that means that somewhere between 200 million to 300 million people on the planet are bent on the destruction of the west. that means that the battle is against something like the entire population of the USA that is bent on the destruction of the USA, as the USA is seen as the leader of the west.

THEN you add the complication that this is a religion, thus has no borders, no specific government, no centralized leadership, and it becomes clear how complex and dangerous the problem has become.
