Squish chit.

There is a story behind this truck that I will reveal in a couple of weeks

pete3799 02-25-2015 04:27 PM

Oh sure.......Pete gets an F-550.........and Rick gets a monster truck.
You win:D

Rick V 02-25-2015 04:29 PM

At 6mpg and 2.70 a gallon I think you win

Rick V 02-25-2015 04:31 PM

Okay Pete you will understand this, It has a Cat 3116 and an Allison 7spd, which I know is the weakest link but it isn't going to see extreme use (maybe)

HHI944 02-25-2015 04:42 PM

40° and raining......so I grabbed my armor and went for a run...

So, you are secretly a doomsday prepper and that's going to be your bug out vehicle...

or you are going to put a bell on it and drive around selling bomb pops.

or, you are starting a tiny house business and will use it to deliver them. (i think it's a little tall for that though.)

or, you are going to just drive it around so you won't have to ever take a testosterone supplement.

or, you joined a frat while working at the school bookstore and it is some weird part of a hazing thing.

or, you plan to park it in the Subaru dealership show room on top of as many cars as you can.

We've got an Allison 6 speed auto in one of the town trucks ..........so far it's the only thing that hasn't had trouble on that truck.

Very very cool. I'm jealous. I'd love to show up at Supercar Sunday in a bad boy like that. 😄

Oh noooo, accidentally found a Pure Red 06 Cayenne S titanium edition with air suspension and well maintained that could be had for a good deal.

Thinking about making an offer, and if he takes it sell my Carmon Red 04 Cayenne S with air suspension.

The 06 has 10K more miles than mine, but also has:
White gauge faces (i have trouble seeing the black gauges in daylight).
It's Red and not Dark Red.
Bi-Xexon headlights with cornering lights.
Newer DVD based Nav with upgradeable maps.

And a brighter shade of hello officer red, or is that arrest me red?

Jim Richards 02-26-2015 02:07 AM

That pepperwagen sure is red. You do know, white cars are faster. It's physics. All visible wavelengths of light are reflected by white paint. Other colors absorb light of various wavelengths, only reflecting the colors you see (like arrest me red). All that absorbed light increases the weight of the car, making it slower. So, white cars have a competitive advantage! See, ain't science wonderful? :)

They were calling for a very light dusting and we have better then four inches of dust already. Looks like Peggy is on deck

pete3799 02-26-2015 02:57 AM

So what are you going to name the new addition to the fleet........Brutus?

It's getting pretty dusty here, too. And I'm allergic to dust!

Almost all the crap has melted. It was mid 50s yesterday. Then someone opened the freezer door. It is 20 something now with a lot of frozen crap forecast for tomorrow and all weekend. Only a few inches forecast.

More than one of our many customers is a huge company with offices in several states and Canada. We are doing one project in western Oklahoma for a company and the office we are dealing with is in eastern Canada. We were telling them about our big s*** of almost 5 inches and they were laughing at us for whining about a few inches. We are supposed to fly a project for them as soon as the white stuff is all melted. They were amazed it would be flown next week if the skies ever get clear.

Good morning folks.

I've had the Calypso Red Lotus for over a year now without a single citation. I think it may be the first vehicle I've owned that I've not gotten a ticket in.....

flipper35 02-26-2015 07:16 AM

I had a red 1969 Dodge Coronet convertible. It was only a 383 with a console shifted 727 behind it.

We got about 6" of snow last night. I suppose I will need to get the snow blower out tonight for the driveway since I didn't have time last night. Not looking forward to it since it was sunny and 3* on the way in to work. Might just do the area by the mailbox for our carrier and the concrete part of the drive. Tired of throwing gravel everywhere.

Rick, you need to paint Joe green and take a pick of him in the drivers side of the new truck. Taking it to cars and coffee? I think Lou would be a good name for the truck. Or Fezzik.

Jim Richards 02-26-2015 07:21 AM

I had a red MG Midget and a red '66 Mustang coupe.
