Ha ha ha... I didn't hear the Fedex guy. Discovered the wheels had arrived by the delivered email notification. Nerd.

Evening Y'all,
Well today I learned something that I am not to thrilled with. My boss sold a car and he wanted to replace the fuel pump, just because it was fifteen years old, thats cool BUT. He didn't want to wait until I got back from lunch and decided to start the job his self. Instead of removeing a couple of lines a few wired, the real half exhaust, and two straps he took a skill saw with a metal blade and cut a hole in the floorboard under the rear seat.
Rickie ain't gonna work in a place that will do some jack leg crap like that.

nynor 02-27-2015 02:59 PM

why in the world would he do that?! so, he sells the car, then cuts a hole in the floorboard AFTER it is sold?!

It is in an area that will not be seen by anybody other then a tech but it is a hack thing to do and I won't play like that, or be associated with any sort that would, so I am one the hunt for new digs

Simple, I can take that spare tire off that truck with two fingers, well a thumb and finger

i'd be really pissed if i found out that some cut a hole through the floor of a car i just purchased, after the deal was made. just saying. if i found that, it would be no deal.

Rick V 02-27-2015 03:35 PM

I'm pissed about it, guilt by association and all that jazz.
Oh well, gonna have some fun tomorrow, the grandsons do not know about the M1078 yet so I am going to just drive over there tomorrow and lay on the horn, which by the way is the weakest little sissy tooter I have ever had the dis-privileged to lay ears on. I am gonna have to get my hands on a set of train horns, it's not like I have to worry about plumbing air for them

Wow, I always forget how expensive gas is in other countries. 37 gallons cost that much!

porsche4life 02-27-2015 07:26 PM

Made it back to Phoenix with no trouble. Finally got the pickup sold this evening too! Good day!

RKDinOKC 02-27-2015 08:59 PM

Sidney, you need a Cayenne, don't you.

it was about that much, here in utah, just a couple of months ago. in US dollars. the exchange rate is .78 US to 1 AUS. so, a couple of months ago, that would have been a bargain, here.

Outback Porsche 02-27-2015 11:18 PM

That's a great price, a couple of months ago 95RON was 1.89

Actually that would be a great vehicle for his job, not joking

A couple of realtors in my parents 'hood use a golf cart. Much better for the job. :D

Rick V 02-28-2015 06:06 AM

Well final inspection uncovered a blown 1156 bulb, other then that the M is completely inspected and the army did a full resto on this thing before they sold it. It needs nothing, not even a single fluid changed

Remember he is in AZ. Touring a neighborhood in a golf cart on a 115 degree day will never sell a house, just kill the clients.

Good morning folks.

slodave 02-28-2015 06:29 AM

It gets that hot out here too. ;) Just not as often.

Rick V 02-28-2015 06:32 AM

I think Sid has a little bit further the travel than a hood, although I could be wrong.
