Vacuum lines are intact. The pop-off valve seems to be working fine and still attached to the airbox. Would the epoxy maybe crack over time? I don't know how long ago it was installed. |
I'm going to lose my friggin good humor.
A supplier with whom I no longer do business decided that they didn't want their product on amazon and started reporting anyone who has ever been on the listing as infringing their intellectual property rights.....because their legal team missed the ****ing day on first use doctrine.....they've done this to me 4 times since I stopped selling their product, I'm not exactly sure how their deciding to target me or even finding my dead listings, but crap like that is par for the course with amazon..... It's libel.... It's being used to harass me and......it's interstate.....which means it's a blatant violation of federal cyberstalking laws....which carry a 5yr/250k penalty per offense.... Guess I'm heading to the Savannah field office next week. |
They need to learn to do what my nephew's FIL does. The Fun-oodle pool foam toy guy. He knocks his own toys off so nobody else has a chance to. A lot less costly than trying to legally chase down and get anything out of knock off artists. Friggin lawyers are the only ones that benefit from those confrontations. Guarantee the lawyers are the ones behind it. Trying to justify their retainer.
We have a new highway interchange that was put off for 99 years. The property for the interchange was donated and had a park as part of the deal. The property ownership was part of a 99 year lease that insured the park would be maintained or all property revert to heirs and the city would have to pay fair market value for leasing it plus interest. The 99 year lease finally ran out, the park is gone and the interchange got built. But until the lease ran out it was almost fun watching every few years as the city planners would announce plans for incorporating the park property into the interchange, then suddenly stop and the park would get cleaned up and updated. |

Their legal department consists of a sole paralegal..... The guy who owns the company was booted by his board once and apparently decided to redefine 'hostile takeover' by taking an ace to the board room door during a meeting. |
400 million is more than enough. You just knockoff on the coasts. The whole idea is to flood the markets. Take the returns and send them out to other markets.

Oh man, thought I had it bad...
Guy bought a 928 in Dallas. Having it shipped to Boston. Then driving it home to Denver via Pittsburg. |
Aw crap! We've come home to the biblical flood and I can't get a plumber here till Tuesday coz of it being bloody Easter.

Oh that sucks.
Okay it's friday, time for Da Funk |
Morning, y'all. Someone told me today is Good Friday. Well, I thought every Friday is good.
http://www-static.weddingbee.com/pics/36582/FRIDAY.jpg Sorry about the flooding, Jeff. |
I'm gunna play with my jack hammer in the morning, and see if I can find the leak and bodge a repair while I wait for a plumber.

Sucks, had that happen before. It was the first weekend after I got my first Porsche too. Came home late on Sunday night from a 4 day road trip hearing water run under the house. Next day was a Monday holiday and I was planning to have a party. Plumber friend came over early and put a saddle clamp on it. We just got an early start on the party. Did have to put up with some teasing about making him work on a Monday Holiday, but all I had to say was Free Pizza and Beer will make some people do anything.

If it wasn't for our fantastic neighbours (who had a set of keys), who had a bit of an investigate and shut the water off to the property on Monday, it could have been a lot worse.

Great wonderful Friday everyone. I am off work so it is a extra good Friday.
Gonna play in the garage and change the oil in the Elky and find something else to tinker on. There is always something to do on an 29 year old 336,000 mile vehicle. |
Jeff good neighbors are a great asset. Worth more than anything you can pay for.

Hey fellas.
Got new spark plugs last night(free on my Autozone reward card) for the 911. Throwing them in it this am to see what happens. Daughter is having a few friends stay over tonight for the first time. My son is going to Grandpas house so "he doesn't have to listen to the girls" and "they better stay out of my room". |
Good luck with that water situation Jeff.
Wayne, your son is on point haha |
Put the new plugs in but it is still down on power. It starts right up like normal. Took it around the block and made it back without an issue. I watched the plug wires in the dark and they do not arc which leads me to believe they are good.
No funny noises from the engine like tensioners, etc. I searched Pelican off and on yesterday and last night. Not sure where to go from here. |
