Your complaints about the range being closed et al being a tactical song. Tactical blues maybe?

Though now I have the song Spoon Man stuck in my head but with the lyrics spoon range.

Is this the religion that worships Ralph, the Porcelain God?

I don't think worship is the word that came to mind.

Remind me to never accept an Easter dinner invitation at your house.

Evening Y'all,
Yeah Wayne those were Centerlines, worth more then the entire car, I also had a set on my little D21 Nissan, they looked good on that toy.

Sid I hope the eye gets better fast, and I hope you have learned not to make Tweeze mad, she doesn't play fair. :D

Cool Rick. I told my FIL to keep an eye out for a set on EBAY or CL. We have the factory wheels but still.

Chili dogs for supper tonight and then we are going to make a bonfire. It was a beautiful day here. We worked in the yard, helped a neighbor put out her patio furniture, and I washed the 911 and my truck. Wife went to work.....

I walked in the shop this morning and the boss was talking about going fishing because the weather is so nice, and I asked him if we were going to close up for the day, of course he said no. I told him to shut the F up and leave me the hell alone.

Allright, we've had our first come to me and say "I want out" instead of just barking at the door!

But, she has also started barking at the front door when she sees the neighborhood kids out playing.

See, there is an app for that! :p

Good Tuesday morning everyone.

Jim Richards 04-07-2015 04:00 AM

Good second Monday, Glen. After yesterday's beautiful day (i.e., perfect sailing conditions), we're in for rain through Sat AM. As the old saying goes, April showers bring May mosquitoes and allergies.

GH85Carrera 04-07-2015 04:09 AM

We would all love a week of solid hard rain around here.

Jim Richards 04-07-2015 04:10 AM

I wish I could redirect this to CA.

GH85Carrera 04-07-2015 04:26 AM

Yea, this is a frustrating weather pattern much like what happened to Oklahoma in the 1930s. I always had to admire how tough my wife's grandmother was. She raised 3 boys and 2 girls on a farm in western Oklahoma during that period. No electricity at all. No telephone. The water well was a hand pump in the front yard so for any water it was an effort. Imagine a day in 105 degree temps outside with a fine dust blowing in the wind. A old wood building more like a storage shed of today. It would get as hot as an attic of today inside. The family is hungry so you go into the kitchen area and light up the cast iron wood burning stove to cook on. Of course that heats up the house even more. You can't really open a window or the house will fill up with dirt blowing in the wind.

With no electricity there is not even a fan much less air conditioning. You can't do much at night because all you have is a kerosene lamp and candles as a light source.

The internet was really really slow back then before dialup, it was snail mail and it might take a week to get a letter into the big city.

Forget the good ol days. I will take modern technology any day.

Pretty much made the final call this morning that I have a job and the company I work for still operates...because it's in A LOT of old debt and that needs to be paid off.

Good to hear but were you worried about losing the gig?

Rain but warm temps for us through Sat, too. Gonna change the 911 oil today. Have our first of the year PCA event next Saturday so I'm sure it will rain in the am and then get nice which means the 911 will look like it was just drug out of a barn. OH well, it STILL a 911 even when filthy dirty.

GH85Carrera 04-07-2015 04:50 AM

That has to be scary. BTDT.

I was at one company for over 25 years. We were making decent money for a long time and then digital hit the professional photography world. Everyone could afford a cheap digital camera and picky clients suddenly could take pictures on their own and quality dropped but since they cold take the picture themselves it was "good enough" and they were happy. Price was all that mattered. The business just evaporated.

Yep. 911s come with a feature found on most cars, windshield wipers. My 911 has been filthy nasty dirty many times. It still looks good dirty.
