The other band we started was more alternative/college rock-ish. Business style haircuts and sensible clothes. The music was better but less hard rock.

I was a computer nerd in my youth. It was all dial up, phone freaking, collecting software, and cracking copy protection.

Wasn't into hacking into computers, but did go to one hacker convention. Very interesting. There were as many computer security people there as actual hackers. There was a contest of hacking into a specific server and changing a specific page on the server. It was a real challenge because security was informed and they knew the hotel everyone was at and exactly what they were trying to do. What better way to make sure how good your security is?

I went to a convention for the Wildcat BBS software folks. I ran a BBS using Wildcat and it was fun talking to other SYSOPS from across the region. I had a US Robotics Dual Standard 56 K baud modem that cost me several hundred dollars something like $600. To program it to accept calls for the BBS was silly complex.

Since I have never been to Vegas I can honestly say I have never even seen a hooker I would want to take to bed even if it was free. Nothing at all like on TV & the movies. Every hooker I have seen would require so much alcohol to be consumed it would be a fatal dose.

I can't imagine snorting some unknown drug or even any drug. After two surgeries for a deviated septum and a lifetime of allergies I can't imagine abusing my sinuses like that.

I will pass on the hookers & blow. My wife will not allow it either. :cool:

Glen, I think if you do the blow first the hooker's looks probably don't matter.

The hookers I have seen in a local paper that publishes mug shots of hookers and John's are down right scary. I guess it proves some men will screw anything. I have seen sheep with more sex appeal that some of those "pros."

^^This, same thing in recent months in our local paper as well. They publish both the hooker and caught john's names...saw a few all-stars from high school on the roster

My dad personally knew a guy that was 85 and was arrested as a John. We all decided at that age it would be a badge of honor to be busted on the hunt for some *unt. His wife had cut him off at age 84 and he was just in the need for some relief.

Good for him. (Twisted relation but bear with me) My wife's, step-grandfather's, girlfriends, mother...92, got caught giving BJ's in the back corner wing chair, in the library of the senior center in which she lived.

Family found out because the Executive Director called her daughter in for a meeting about her mother's promiscuous behavior.

She was just getting into practice for last month. On 3-14 one month after Valentines day it is Steak & a BJ day.

When in HS we used to cruise the Blvd in front of the Oklahoma State Capital. It used to be a mile lined with motels. If you drive in circles up and down the mile the more passes you made the more hookers would come out to the curbs in front of the motels. When we thought enough had come out, we would pull up to a group and asked what we could get for a dollar. We learned all kinds of new curse words. We thought it was hilarious.

From what I've seen there is a huge difference between street walkers, massage parlors/houses, and call girls with call girls being the best looking and most expensive.

Went on a OKC ski club ski trip. Two of the girls on the trip were vacationing call girls...oh my, that was a fun week.

Well the storms are maybe possibly honing into the metro area about 10:00 gone by midnight or so.
