Mmmm port and dark chocolate. I wonder if that'll help my BP? :D

All this crap is up where it belongs, in the mountains!

Good Morning

Chocolate covered Bacon!

When I started a management position my BP skyrocketed. Doc put me on meds for it. Then discovered and started building and flying remote control model airplanes. After a couple of months started having low BP woes and doc had to take me off the BP meds. The concentration to fly an r/c plane gave me an adrenaline rush that cleared my stress. Moved from R/C planes to autocross for the rush.

If my BP gets elevated at work I just take a nap and relax. :p

I just HAD to buy a new toy. I got a Levono Thinkpad Yoga. It is a laptop that the screen will fold all the way around and work as a tablet. It is fairly light and fast. 256 Gig SSD drive but only 8 gig RAM. I wish more RAM was an option but it will work for what I wanted it for. My old travel laptop was a cast off from work that is SLOW SLOW SLOW. It was a Pentium running XP. I use it in the garage to play Pandora. It is heavy and bulky.

The Levono is running Win 8.1 and I have the Classic shell on it so it is a bit of a hybrid OS. Still trying to figure it out.

I would suggest not pulling his tail to see if his mouth opens.

I'm not missing it that's for sure. I might by the end of summer when water is in short supply.

We have been looking at those for work to replace some iPads since our new charting software doesn't play nice with the iOS. How is the battery life on it? That is our biggest concern since it is only used for a web app over wireless.

Should sell my iPad mini. Used it for entertainment while laid up with my foot elevated, now hardly at all.

RKDinOKC 06-10-2015 07:18 AM

Did a little playing with that TVMC software. It is a pretty good replacement for Hulu for watching series stuff like Game of Thornes, etc. And they are all in HD. It was only the still in theaters movie that were SD instead of HD. It finds free streams you can watch.

Caught up on all the Big Bang Theory episodes I missed. And re-watched the movie Lucy in HD.

Really happy with the wifi bridge I got running now. Now its going 60Mbps, fast enough I can stream to my laptop, which streams to my AppleTV that displays on my Big Screen.

I really have not played much with the thing off the battery. I am still trying to get it set up the way I want it. It comes with a TON of bloat ware. It had one page single sided 8.5 x 11 instruction sheet. Everything else is in a PDF file.

It is evident that Microsoft wants Win 8 to operate like a phone. There are tons of stuff to sync everything to a phone and the fricking cloud. I ain't gonna do it that way.

This weekend is to be cooler. Thank goodness. I have the right rear caliper on, torqued and plumbed. Just have to install the pads and move on the left rear. The problem for me is that by the time I get home the sun has baked the west facing garage for far to long. I not a big fan of the heat.

flipper35 06-10-2015 07:49 AM

TVMC is basically all the extra add-ons for Kodi that we use. We like it pretty well.
