That's like jumping out of the frying pan into the fryer....

British car madness!!! Aieeeee!!!!

HHI944 07-25-2015 01:34 PM

The only real pain, maintenance wise, is the timing belt.....gotta have an engine crane for that.
Everything else is relatively easy, just some quirks here and there. You can't actually see the oil filter for instance. You've got to snake your hand through the right front wheel well to get to it.

I was out in the 90 degree garage welding up an integral sleeve lift hitch for my John Deere 214, so I can go to a local plow day and help plow a 20 acre field (10-12 of us on garden tractors) on a friends farm.

Wow, was that a start to the Hungarian GP!

Jim Richards 07-26-2015 05:19 AM

What happened?

Noah930 07-26-2015 05:56 AM

The red lights turned off. Some cars started moving around. It was very exciting.

Noah930 07-26-2015 05:59 AM

Radio transmission of the day so far:

Kimi: A part on the front wing came off the car.
Ferrari: We are looking at the data. It must have been a small part.
Kimi: It was not a small part.

Morning Y'all.
I love nature but sometimes she is just a little kid who likes to play games. I was hiking in the woods at dawn and a hawk screamed above my head, Yeah I ducked. A few hundred yards later it was above me again and it screamed again, a few hundred yards later it did it again, I was being stalked. I decided another cup of coffee was in order and made my retreat to the safety of home.

Noah930 07-26-2015 06:12 AM

Wow. Front wing explosion. (Not Kimi). Very exciting DNF.

Jim Richards 07-26-2015 06:35 AM

Carnage is cool.

No Ricky for breakfast!

Noah930 07-26-2015 06:51 AM

Wow. Maybe the most exciting F1 race of the year.

RKDinOKC 07-26-2015 07:07 AM

Almost missed it. Couldn't find the race on cable, had to spoof my IP and watch the Sky Sports F1 HD stream.

Oh Haha 07-26-2015 07:07 AM

That was one of funnest Saturday nights I have had in a loooong time.

Spent the evening with my best friend at his daughter's graduation and then played bocce ball with him and some of our musician friends from back in the day. I took my son with me and he had a blast, too. Times like that are when I really miss living in my hometown. We are all older, grayer but still reconnect like it was just yesterday when we last saw each other.

RKDinOKC 07-26-2015 10:48 AM

Those aren't from unicorns, those are My Little Pony Pellets.

When did Ferrari start building cars in England?
