Got to see the sun today for about half an hour. It was the first time in over a week. It was also our last warm day, it was 72, high tomorrow 50, oh and rain from Glen will be here

It only turned colder today, and already cabin fever has set in.

Had 2" of rain today, and an inch or so yesterday so the yard is a swamp, but at least the new horse barn is mostly dry inside...alot of fine gravel for the riding arena, and 4 triple axle dump truck loads of dirt around the outside, and inside of the walls. The french drain on the south side of the barn wicks away the water coming off the roof, and dumps into two 6" underground tiles going to the creek.....these two tiles ran full volumn for 4 solid hours.

Well the sleet has stopped and the white fluffy crap is next. And at least two decent earthquakes. Likely 2.5 or so. I guess it is too cold for locusts or swarms of frogs.

Glen the weather is going crazy stuff there. My folks got here about 4 on Saturday, they are enjoying watching the crap from out here. It's been cool here but still way better than there!!!

Think it's just setup for the dreaded Monday after Christmas.
