I don't face plant, so this is my only way to keep up with y'all. Richard, best wishes on that eyeball thing. You needs them to properly ogle the girls and drive your Porsches fast.
We're settled in to our apt here in Valencia. Hasta Luego! |
Maybe he was abducted by the hot Redheaded Amazon women aliens. Of course with Rick's luck they only want him to fix their VWs and shovel the snow.

One of the challenges we have is grocery shopping. Our Spanish skills are pretty sketchy. Most of the people in the markets speak little to no English. Still, we haven't had to starve!

What part is the part Y ?
|
That's the part where the part associated with doing your part at work is not a part of whatever part you are taking part in.

evening allllllll.
Have been doing some work on Pusha this week, since it has been sitting for almost 5 years, so new wheel bearings in the rear, regreased fronts, upgraded calipers front, sand blasted and painted front and rear dust covers, my favourite tool in the workshop, the sand blasting machine, love it, I think if I had time every part on the 356 would be sandblasted. Well that's when I am allowed to start work on it, Pusha first. Regreased CVs, new pads, all of that kind of stuff. Fun . Just have to get it all back together properly!!!! or no stoppy stoppy. Also has developed a drip from the fuel pump bnajo joint, and a serious drip from the oil tank, the list just keeps growing. Tightened the drain plug on the oil tank after whiping it all squeaky clean, starting it up and leaving it sit for a while, that's where it appeared to be leaking., fingers crosssed. The fuel leak, sigh. fire extinguisher at the ready. |
Stijn!!
The joy of OLD cars.
We are off to the PCA breakfast this morning. |
I'm longing to spend time with my OLD car.
Enjoy the PCA breakfast, Glen. |
Wow what a pretty day. This is San Diego weather. 68 and light breeze and blue skies. I just have to go play in the garage.
|
Almost identical weather here. I need to wrap up some of that W word so I can go for a ride and use the new gopro.
|
It was a bit cooler here today, low 60s. The rest of the week should be upper 60s to mid 70s. Perfect tourist weather!
|
Drive Pusha, Azzy! Put wants to be flogged!
|
Binged all the Police Squad episodes. Funny stuff. Old, but funny.

Is this weird?
My kitchen and dining room is decorated with chickens. Chicken pictures, chicken pottery, chicken dinnerware, chicken glass bowls, chicken curtains, chicken place mats, chicken tea towels, chicken hot pads, chicken figurines, chicken bock ends, the cabinet knobs are even chickens. There is even a plaque on the wall with a chicken on it that says "This chick has had it!" I even have material to make new matching chicken and chicken wire drapes, table cloth, chair cushion covers etc. The summer I was 5 my sister came to visit for the summer and painted 2 big pictures in oils for Mom. One was of a rooster, the other of a hen. They fit perfectly on a wall over a bureau. The chicken collecting started with those. When Mom died my sister took the two chicken paintings and 2 other pictures she painted to lean against the wall in her basement with the rest of the stuff she doesn't actually use. Now I got this huge chicken menagerie with a big blank spot where the king and queen used to be. Over the years of living here with the small earth quakes several of the chicken figurines and book ends have committed suicide off the plate rack. Hope there isn't some kind of chicken coo. I am NOT a decorator and have no idea how to decorate the kitchen or what to do with all the freaking chickens. All I know is I don't really like chicken and rarely cook or eat it yet the kitchen is full of them! |
I had some beer can chicken last weekend for the first time. I've never eaten a chook more moist. Bloody delicious
