Oh Haha 04-29-2016 12:47 PM

I tried ********.com to get the side door roller for our van and a window switch master panel for my truck.

The order was placed around 12:30 today and I just received an email that the part have been shipped! So far, I am impressed.

As posted before, I AM our dishwasher. :D

A big supercell thunderstorm is coming up I-44 once again. The last few times that happened it came through Moore and Norman area and mostly Moore bad tornadoes. Hopefully for the folks in Moore it will turn and miss them or not drop an twister. That storm has already dropped grapefruit and softball size hail earlier. Now it is "only" tennis ball size. It is looking like it will go south of us but a bit. I sure hope so.

flipper35 04-29-2016 01:44 PM

Be safe down there.

GH85Carrera 04-29-2016 01:55 PM

It is fairly far south of us. It is going right towards the National Weather center. They might get some super close up radar of the storm as it approaches.

Jolly Amaranto 04-29-2016 02:24 PM

I was with a group taking a tour of the National Weather Center in Norman. Someone asked what the procedure was if a monster tornado was bearing down on the building. They told us there is a meeting place on the bottom level of the underground parking garage. During the last big one that hit Moore, three people actually showed up down there. Everyone else was on the roof watching the storm.

Hahaha! Reminds me of the "hurricane parties" people would throw in Florida.

GH85Carrera 04-29-2016 04:18 PM

This storm was wrapped in rain so there was nothing to see except the radar and other electronic information. The storm pretty much went over their building I have not yet heard the reports of damage. The storm did go south of Moore so they dodged a bullet. Lots of hail from the storm.

Partay!

Outback Porsche 04-30-2016 03:52 AM

Um yeah, no.

Four of the buggers live here.

My tojo has been kicked out of its carport by shazza's fossils caravan.

The other tojo belongs to the kids, they're over to watch the footy on Foxtel.

Morning, y'all. It's Saturday! Oh wait...;)

GH85Carrera 04-30-2016 06:16 AM

Morning all. It is a beautiful day here today. Clear skies and the high today is low 70s. A good day to play in the garage.

Oh Haha 04-30-2016 06:38 AM

Yep, nice day here as well although not as warm.

I've got my BBQ pork steak in the crotch pot to have for supper tonight. It's not worthy of a pic but it should taste awesome.

I'm going to cut the lawn as we are scheduled for rain for the next few days and it's already looking shaggy.

Funny typo there. A crotch pot is different from anything we have!

porsche4life 04-30-2016 08:25 AM

Glen have you got the botch yet? My only complaint was that it would beep for hours when it finished a cycle. I looked up online and figure out how to turn that feature off!

******** is good for parts. With all our resources sometimes we all still end up ordering oem parts there lol!

I've ordered stuff from Amazon too. Some parts I've gotten same day delivery on!

I love rock auto. When I had to replace the coolant expansion tank in the disco, the dealer wanted ~$250 with the pressure cap, NAPA couldn't even get the tank and rock auto overnighted that sucker to me for ~80 total with the cap.

RKDinOKC 04-30-2016 09:31 AM

Back in the 80's there used to be a place called Ted Ward's Auto Supply. They had everything, had stores all over town, and most important were open 24 hours. Because of them even one of the Chevy/GMC dealerships kept their parts department open 24 hours a day also.

Remember going to the 24 hour dealership to get a new little plastic gear to put in the transmission for the speedo pickup to correct it for having big giant tires.

To soon to spend very much time outside on such a nice sunny day, even with sunglasses over my sunglasses. Makes my eye ball start hurting again.
