Sounds like your crotch pot pork might make a good breakfast omelet with some red onions and cheddar. I like making an omelet out of nice juicy pulled pork, some white cheese like mozzarella or provolone, and picante sauce.

Just got back from running weekly grocery errands...Man I didn't realize how hazy and depressing my eyes made it look even when it was a nice sunny day. Even with my left eye still blurry it is much brighter and clearer than I've seen it in a long time. Was getting a bit depressed slowly going blind over four years even though I was getting treatments. Sure happy they were able to give me my vision back! Just can't be out in the sun longer than 15-20 minutes before that left eye starts aching.

In scouts we used to make peach cobbler with bisquick and peach pie filling in a dutch oven on our camp outs. At the summer camp we went to we had to cook our own food but they brought by fresh ingredients every meal. We always opted for the ice cream including freezer and ice to go with the cobbler we brought our own stuff for. It was amazing how cool we were able to keep leftovers and stuff with our evaporative fridge. Especially when we could put a little ice in the top every few days.

Our scoutmaster was a resourceful old fart. We always took his full size Dodge extended van on our camping trips. He welded another rim to the outside of each of the back wheels. When we got it stuck we could hook a rope on welded on rim and use it like a winch.

We quit going to summer camp and instead went to different national forests. The official scout camps got real uncomfortable when one of our troop members had an epileptic fit. Even though we were well trained and perfectly able to take care of him, the council asked us not to bring our handicapped members to summer camp. That was about half of our troop. Providing a handicapped friendly scout troop was what we did. In fact, we got the requirements for some of the badges changed to make it easier for the handicapped to get them (without compromising the training and accomplishments the badges represented). We even took a guy in a wheel chair on a 50 mile hike. You've never seen someone so proud of a patch. His bigger brothers played football for OU at the time and it was something they didn't have.

Thats pretty close to the flavor, but I add frozen strawberries so it's kinda like throwing a legal pad of paper into a blender with some strawberries.

I know some guys that just eat the protein powder plain....I tried it once and hacked so violently that I coughed up a cloud of protein powder that proceeded to blind me temporarily.

Would stay inside if it were at all poopy outside. But does somehow fit the norm for a Monday.

Just have one particular area in the back yard that is poopy. Pepper has a particular set of skills and they include only using that area when she does her stuff or does number 6.

We had fantastic weather all weekend. High 60s and low 70s and just nice!

It might be Monday, but we are above ground and alive.

I have been to more than a few funerals of friends that were much younger than I.

Hey.

Ran to the bank a bit ago. LOTS of gray hairs on the roads. Grrrrrrr.

As I'm sitting in my vehicle preparing to exit a vehicle pulls up beside me. I noticed but didn't look over. Next thing I hear is an angry voice "Next time you do that, I'll beat your a$$!" I look up and a rather large guy is yelling at a younger guy in the truck next to me. I waited for a moment and big fella goes into the bank. I see him waiting at the counter and say "must be Monday" to him. He laughs and tells me what had happened between them. I finish my banking and go to leave and tell him I hope his day gets better. He wishes me a good day as well.

In the lot, the kid is outside of his truck and staring at me. I casually say "hey, what's up?". He then tells me that his Dad and uncle are cops and that guy is in deep for messin' with a cop's kid. I figure I would impart some wisdom and say "son, that guy is a lot bigger than you, you might want to just let it go."

"No way man, he doesn't know who he's messin' with". I really wanted to stay and see what happened but left.

I heard a funny story about how really life works.

A friend's 18 year old daughter is wanting to go to college. Her parents will help her pay for that but they insist she gets a job and actually earn a living and go to college at the same time. The chick decides she really likes animals and figures working at Petsmart would be ideal. She could see the dogs and puppies and enjoy her job. Then reality strikes. The manager has her in training and on day one she gets to learn our to collect the crickets to sell to customers to feed their pet reptiles. So her first day on the job she has to stick her hand into the cricket box.

Like many girls, crickets and "bugs" gross her out for no real reason. The boss then said "next we will feed the snakes." She almost quit.

He dad had zero sympathy. He told her to suck it up and do her job. Good dad!

Yep, I have dealt out crickets for customers back in the day. No snakes at our shop, though. I did sell quite a few meeses for feeding them.

Got bit by a big Momma rat one time. She nailed my finger when I was reaching in with her food dish.
