Thanks for sharing Glen for those of us not able t make the trip.

Sid, I had broken a wisdom tooth on a piece of hard candy a while ago. Pulled it out without any issues and was only bothersome for a few hours. Actually, both of them were about the same. Felt better after removing the broken one for sure.

Hey Glen there are bugs on the hood. Get busy.

RKDinOKC 06-15-2016 09:17 AM

Don't know about wisdom teeth. Never bothered to grow any. Or 3 other teeth either.

After college I had to get braces because of it. My jaw had an overbite but because of the missing top two rear molars my teeth had an underbite. My two bottom incisors were outside my top teeth like a bulldog, or the Orcs in the movie Warcraft. The orthodontist I didn't use was the one that wanted to take full head x-rays to try to find my 7 missing teeth.

flipper35 06-15-2016 09:36 AM

I only grew two and not until my 40s.

RKDinOKC 06-15-2016 11:41 AM

Thinking about it, it was a good thing I never got into or saw any of those goth/tatoo/implant freaks before I got my teeth fixed. Might have thought it was cool instead of an ugly annoyance. Was weird going to the orthodontist in my 20's when every one else there were kids.

My boss in California had braces in his late 50s. You think you felt out of place. Funny, his twin brother never needed them.

Have you ever had one of those calls where the person on the other end just doesn't want to do anything to help you even though it is their job? This guy wasn't qualified to crap in the toilets for prisoners to clean, let alone work a call center for a national phone company. Finally had to hang up on him as we were getting nowhere. Must have been too busy with his nose up the bosses turd gutter. I think is has been 13 years since I swore at someone on the phone in a professional setting.

We made it to Mass. We drove across the state of Connecticut, part of RI and in to MA.

The Gillette Castle was cool.
This is the view.

So when you moving in?

GH85Carrera 06-15-2016 01:42 PM

We are in Seakonk, MA. We we told about a restaurant called the Warf Tavern. It is on the water and 15 minutes from the hotel. We have reservations. :)

Hey all!

Last day of school today. Both kids got an award for perfect attendance and my daughter got a certificate for being on the honor roll for 3 marking periods.

My wife even showed up for the ceremony although she told me not to expect her.

I've noticed a slight vibration in the truck recently that I could feel through the seat.

Turns out the center support bearing crapped out again. I replaced it a couple of years ago. I know the Cayenne has this issue but mine will be much cheaper. Had the guy across the street help disassemble the 2 piece drive shaft as I just couldn't get the u-joint out.

I'll get the parts tomorrow and have him use his shop press to install the new bearing. Total cost will just be for the parts.

Supper time. Gotta go!

Good Morning.

Up early this morning. It has been getin hot an humid around here. Right now it is 77°F and 89% humadidy. Figure it has to get hot and dry out so there will be a fire hazard for the 4th of July since it was wet last year. Noticed trees leaves are curling a bit like they need water.

Still busy archiving all the emails and data from the employees that were part of the "Work Force Reduction." That and all the re-org permissions and access.

GH85Carrera 06-16-2016 02:51 AM

Good morning all. Today we are off to Plymouth Rock and a tour of the Mayflower 2. Buckman tavern, minute man national park, and more.

We have a lovely view out the window of the hotel.

You just don't see such lovely scenic views here in OK.

GH85Carrera 06-16-2016 03:37 AM

This is the quietest and one of the best hotels we have stayed at. They are into the green thing so breakfast was on real plates and real metal forks and knives. Good breakfast, quiet, good quiet AC makes a great stay.

You sound like you're having fun, Glen. SmileWavy

RKDinOKC 06-16-2016 05:18 AM

I'm saving up my 5 weeks vacation for when my 928 gets back on the road. IF THAT ever happens!

If I had gotten laid off, would probably have to sell it as much as I would hate doing that.

Porsche-poor 06-16-2016 06:14 AM
