My mother told me a million times to not exaggerate.

Yarr! The UPS man brought racing booty to the house. Some dude with a fat head and little hands bought a whole bunch of stuff for a DE and then decided it wasn't for him in the first lapping session! Anyways his helmet would fit dad and his gloves will fit me.

Helmet has been worn for less than an hour and the gloves never worn. Got it all for $175 shipped!
Edit... Yes those are MOMO gloves in the longer length... They sell for like 128 new...

Now I just need to hunt me down an Full face 2010 FIA spec helmet.....

Sidney scores!!!

GH85Carrera 10-19-2010 08:43 AM

That looks just like my helmet I had to get for PCA national. They require a Snell 2005 or newer to run the autocross at Parade. It is so quiet I can't hear the engine properly. At the local autocross I wear my old helmet.

Good score Sid.

Dad can't hear right anyways! He just wants something that fits good and he can wear his glassses with. He is happy.

Back in 1978 it cost me $210 to have both front seat bottoms and rear seat back reupholstered on my 71 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus that cost me $1400. It was my second car.

Sidney, sounds like you need to learn sign language for "You are slow" :-)

GH85Carrera 10-19-2010 07:52 PM

Good evening guys.

It's kinda slow on the thread tonight.

Get to posting ya slackers. I need entertainment!

Night guys... I just got done hurridly packing for a trip I really thought we would leave later in the day tomorrow but the departure time got pushed up to 9:30. So I packed everything I would need for a trip, plus everything I would need in the event we tent camp for a night or two, plus all the stuff I will need on dayhikes when we go to climb! WEEE!

I'll be in Arkansas till Sunday if you need me. I'll try to run if I hear banjo music!

slodave 10-19-2010 10:55 PM

Got a lighter?

porsche4life 10-19-2010 10:57 PM

And water proof matches in a waterproof container....

slodave 10-19-2010 10:58 PM

Good Scout. :)

porsche4life 10-19-2010 11:02 PM

Do you really expect any less of me?

slodave 10-19-2010 11:06 PM

Eh, just didn't want to see you carrying worthless, regular matches around in this day and age. Mini Bic for the long, deep pack trips, regular Bic for shorter trips and the BBQ lighter for camping trips. :)

porsche4life 10-19-2010 11:07 PM

Oh come on now... Really? You think I would use something that low tech.... I'm doing my best to keep from throwing my GPS in that pack as well....

porsche4life 10-19-2010 11:13 PM

Oh who am I kidding... It doesn't weigh much. Better take it.

Geronimo '74 10-20-2010 12:16 AM

Happy camping Sid!
