Not unless they will give him a lift when he becomes a pedestrian.
My computer ran hard all weekend. I finished the processing of a project that makes a nice little snapshot image of 14.6 GB Tiff file. It took close to 60 hours of computer time to do. Now we can move on to step two! For a lot of the time the CPU had all the cores running at 100%, the memory was pegged out at all 32 GB used, and the solid state drive was running at 100% utilization. The GPU was running at 25% to 50% for part of the time. |
The nephew that is CEO of the company I work for is restoring a 69 Mustang with one of his boys. He has 5 boys. It has a 351 with really hot cams that makes it lope horribly. Says they plan on reverting to stock cams and 200 hp. Thought the 2bbl 351 Cleveland was 230 and 2bbl 351 Windsor was 250. When I was a kid the Windsor was the desirable engine.

Happy Good INM Morning. It's Not Monday!

Maybe it is!
I just found out we need a new roof. The old roof is not quite 5 years old, and it was supposed to be a 50 year roof. The good new is it is a manufacturer defect. The shingle manufacturer will pay all the cost of the new roof. It was 17 grand last time and I bet it did not get cheaper. So all we have to do is listen to a full day and half of hammering and banging. Oh Joy. At least the manufacturer is standing behind the product 100%, that is nice. Evidently it is blistering, and has fingernail size chunks with the granules coming off. I did notice a lot of granules at the base of the gutters and on the sidewalks. I figured it was normal, but it was excessive. |
Watch and be careful where you step! No matter how much they go over the area with a magnet.

It is VERY windy today _ <- exclamation point blew over.

Speaking of wind, I need to do more sailing _. Same problem w/ the exclamation point |
Or find a good place to watch skits.

The “r” must’ve blown away, Richard. Arrr, arrr, arrrrrr!

It was funny during the F1 race, the announcers said it was very windy. It was a 9 MPH wind. Almost laughable.
When the local airport uses a logging chain as a wind sock, it is windy. ;) |
when I flew R/C planes flying on a day with 25mph wind was not uncommon. It was sometimes fun to fly and land your plane backwards with respect to the ground. National r/c pattern competitions were held even if the wind got up to 39mph.
Visited a flying field in Atlanta. It was very calm. The wind got up to 8mph, still pretty calm. Everyone complained about the wind, packed up their planes, and went home. |
Wasn't paying very much attention to spelling. Was thinking more about calling it "Panty Watch" instead of "Watching Skirts," butt didn't want to sound like a total perv.

Welp, another brief freeze last night. Spring is coming sometime, just not yet. It is a real pain because Mrs Carrera insists I help her cover a bunch of plants. It is back to 34 now so soon I will have to take time off of work to go help her uncover plants.

Maybe you can bee da BOSS!
It sucks when the bosses wife makes ya take off for the day and and get a truckload of compost or she makes ya dig holes, but it has other perks! |
No can do I'm not an engineer.
|
Tell them you had a train set where you were a kid.

Good day all. Snowed last night. At least it isn't as bad as when I was really young. We got 13" overnight in April that year.
David, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss". Richard, the Cobra has a lumpy idle. Emily thinks it sounds cool that way. Not like the flatulent cat that is the Rogue. |
