Given up on the nieces boy mowing my yard. Mowed the front and trimmed the low hanging limbs on the spiney ball tree while is was cooler this morning. Tuesday is big trash day to pick that kind of stuff up but was pretty easy to cut the trimmings up an stuff em in a trash bin.

Did the important thing. Made a mushroom slider fer dinner. Tasteeee.

Early Good Morning.
Day of the week not withstanding.
5:20am, almost startng to get lighter on the Easter horizon.
It's already 77°F and sunrise isn't for another 42 minutes.
Hope it don't get too much warmer at least until after the scheduled 7am Pepper Patrol (walk).

Monday is back.

We are getting a new roof today, golly is will be great. They just parked a large dumpster in front of my single car garage door. That F350 long bed dual cab with a 5th wheel trailer had a tight fit dropping it off. And he had a tough time getting the truck out of the parking area.

RKDinOKC 06-11-2018 05:46 AM

When I went to the grocery store yesterday I saw their sign in your yard. I am by no means a professional cause your roof looked fine to me as I was turning the corner.

Be careful the new roof I got is what ended up messing up my life.

Oh boy, now we are trying to chase down everyone that clicked on the malware they got Friday so we can change their passwords. I suggested we change everyone's password and tell them it was because some users clicked on a link and entered their credentials. But was shot down.

Boy that new spam filter that is supposed to stop all this is certainly NOT doing what they promised somehow. I wonder what point it is going to become enough hassle that we pay the 40K per year for everyone be be on Azure pro and limit what IP addresses they can access their accounts from. Especially since they refuse to turn on MFA.

Morning all. Wet weekend here so no 911 driving. Next weekend is supposed to be good. Spent several hours and two trips to the local Lowes on Saturday putting an old porch swing together. I think I go it but time will tell.

If you didn't bolt it to joists, PLEASE video the first time it is used!

Porsche-poor 06-11-2018 09:19 AM

Rain check is easy hold the bun out the window for a few minutes. Pull it back in if it's soggy it is raining out.

I think I’ve got an all day pass to work in the garage today. My Z didn’t get any attention over the weekend.

try and not make to much noise so you don't get caught by the wife.

OK, I will survive hunting and gathering for food tomorrow on my own. I have found a near 100% success rate at hunting and gathering food if I go to restaurants and give them a little piece of plastic and they are happy. Some places insist on the green folding pieces of paper with pictures of old dead white guys. I never spend the Benjamins on restaurants, I am way to cheep.

Well, the weekend was not so good. Got a text 3:00am Sunday from the guy that works for me. His oldest son (27) was killed in an accident. Another coworker lost their son 10 days ago and he was similar age.

Rained most of the weekend also here.

Porsche-poor 06-11-2018 10:44 AM

Yep that makes for a rotten weekend.

We had a lady that worked for us years ago. She was often 20 minutes late. I was the manager and supposed to see that she showed up on time somehow. 30 minutes after she was supposed to be in the police called. She had been killed in a car accident earlier that morning. They asked I not tell her husband if he called us because he had not been notified. That was such a shock and I felt like someone punched me in the gut. He came by the next day and got the few personal possessions she had in her work area.

I thought of Glen right away because the son was killed in a helicopter accident and he was hired to fly a photographer. The photographer was not on board at the time though.

Have had a couple of co-worker friends that never woke up after going under anesthetic for surgery. One was in a comma for a very long time and his wife finally had them pull the plug. The other was very overweight. He was warned about and not really expecting to wake up from the surgery due to his weight.

Hope I wake up from mine tomorrow. They haven't told me there might be any issues with me having that TIA stroke a few months ago.

My Mom had knee problems that they could not give her a new knee because they said she wouldn't wake up due to her post stroke dementia.

It will sure be nice to be able to see better again.

GH85Carrera 06-11-2018 11:59 AM

Dang those roofers are tough. The heat index is 110 right now. 93 degrees, 63% humidity. It is brutal to walk to the front yard from the back to see what they are up to on occasion. They are up there hammering away. I think they playing hammer time and see who can pound the most. I am not gonna go up there to help!

flipper35 06-11-2018 12:08 PM

Prolly just slow'em down anyway if you do.

Yea, they would need a mop to soak up all the sweat I would be spewing and squirting from all my pores.
