It actually wasn't too bad for the 12 minutes of sittin in the shade, tossing the tennis ball for pepper, and flippin the steak every 3 minutes.
Cool dog trick...put fresh wood chips in the smoker bin and light the grill. Pepper stays outside while I go back in and get the steak out, make hamburger patties, etc. Pepper barks at the back door when the smoke starts coming out of the grill vents, ie the chips are going and it's ready for meat. |
Time for a belt and roller kit for the 944 so I went shopping at pp today. Got a few other bits and bobs...wallet says ouch

I get to go mow the bosses yard this morning. About to head out. Gonna be fun as usual.
|
iHola, y'all! Warm and breezy here today. I guess mowing the yard is in order. Followed by sitting under an umbrella on the patio for the rest of the day. :)
|
Monday is back.
Another week of fun. |
morning all. yep its Monday. Week and a half and I'm gone.
|
Good Monday?
|
are they ever good? Kind if like "morning" and not "good morning".
|
Huh?

Was just trying to be upbeat and positive on a normally hassle filled downer of a day.
It is just too easy, at least for me, to fall into a depressed bad attitude slump. |
Mondays are great. They mean we are above ground and working and making a living and paying taxes and keeping the economy running. Rinse and repeat. After 5 days it gets to Friday. Then in 5 or 10 minutes the weekend zips by and it is back to Monday. Do that for a number of decades and then everyday can be Saturday like Jim does it.
|
Today is my Monday and Friday but Wednesday is my Monday again and Thursday is hump day and Friday is Friday again.
Plus, it is employee appreciation week. I should have taken the whole week off. Yesterday the girl was taking too long in the bathroom and I hear the boy "Don't you know I am hungry, tired and cranky?" I said at least he is honest. David, do you have the big calendar in your office with the days marked off? |
heck no! I want the fact I'm not there it be a surprise.
|
I like the way you think.
|
Had a big marker board setup as a calendar when I was a manager. My staff and I worked in one big office. And yes we crossed the days off.
Now I have no less than 5 calendars I have to keep my activities updated on. 3 to schedule time off. Think the company has become top heavy. |

Really, is this an eye test??? I don't know how big your monitor but mine makes this twice actual size. I bought a Bluetooth headphone set. It is a neck band that sits on my shoulders around my neck. The wires that go to the earpiece retract into the neck strap part for storage. It seems to be a nice enough setup. But the instructions were set up and designed for a nice 8.5 x 11 page but printed in a teeny tiny booklet. The fonts are 6 point or smaller. I have pretty good eyes and with my bifocals I can just read it. Dang. It was easier to use a magnifying glass. If I was really trying to read it, I would download the manual and view it on my computer. They are nice for long phone calls so I don't have to have the phone to my ear. A can type and talk. Or listen to music while mowing the yard. |
try and not let your eyes cross and get stuck while reading that.
|
Gave up reading the tiny stuff when my eye problems started. It has gotten better, but still can't read the 4 pt type at the eye doctor.
Yeah, the headphones probably came in a small package too. Bet the manufacturers thought some kind of young person was going to buy and use their wireless headphones. My wireless headphones are Sony. They are actual headphones. Can't use ear plugs. Makes my ears wax up and have to keep cleaning them out. Think my ears are trying to get rid of the ear plugs. Same thing with those noise reduction ear plugs, got headphones for that too when I worked in the machine shop. Never even took the ear plugs that came with any of my iPhones out of the box. |
Richard, you need a new IT director.
