I think its a different company....

Our printer and small plotter are both made by Gerber. They are one of the best names in sign making equipment. This one has the upgraded Perske router and controller. That option was $5k new. This thing cost 37k new... Dad got it for considerably less.

Never heard of a Perske router.

I mis spoke, the motor and controller are Perske. The router head is gerber.....

I've done a lot of CNC machining. I could definitely help you out.

So it's German. Still never heard of it. :D Different arena. Porter Cable is pretty much the tops on the home shop level - it's good for professionals too. That CNC stuff is pretty much out of reach for us.

I am making some big plans for tomorrow- I need to finish my coffee table project, check in on a project at work, pick up some stuff at Lowe's, and I plan on taking a drive up to Malibu & Mulholland's west side to take some pictures after washing my car.

Who wants to make odds on what all of that I will actually accomplish?
