Morning gents. Its cold here by our standards, 29f. Not a cloud in the sky so no rain or snow for us.

Noah930 02-10-2011 06:31 AM

I think I'm going to take the motorbike into work, today. I'll be sure to bring along a camera, too.

RKDinOKC 02-10-2011 06:49 AM

As long as you guys have been skiing you are like professionals, and I'm better than you...GNAR.

porsche4life 02-10-2011 07:04 AM

Morning, G.

uh, not quite. and i think that rick is maybe five minutes older than me. if you count my years skiing and my years snowboarding, i've been hitting the slopes for about 30 years myself. come to think of it, that makes me feel old.

and I am the best looking on this here thread, for sure!

Noah930 02-10-2011 07:33 AM

Just got back from walking the boy to school. In shorts and flip flops. We took the dog and got compliments from plenty of mommies, too.

Whoooo hooooo it is up to 28 degrees.

nynor 02-10-2011 11:59 AM

snowboarding was glorious. cold, sunny, no wind. 4F, at the base of the resort. it is 34F here in the valley.

off to the garage to remove the starter wiring on jezebel. this should be fun. i have to siphon the gas out of the fuel tank, first. i love that part.

Porsche-poor 02-10-2011 12:38 PM

wow OK set a record low -31. Yikes

Uh, yes. I have been skiing longer than G has been alive.

Porsche-poor 02-10-2011 12:52 PM

not be familiar with S. CA how far do you have to travel to ski? I grew up in Bend OR and still never learned to like skiing. Now hunting and fishing I can go for that.

slodave 02-10-2011 01:00 PM

David,

As close as an hour for the local resorts... Big Bear, Mt. High, Mt. Baldy. Usually they have crap snow though. Mammoth is about 5 hours by car, 1.5 by plane. Much better snow.

You or your kid wear a size 10.5?

Porsche-poor 02-10-2011 01:04 PM

Crappy snow sucks. Mt. Bachelor was about 45 min. from the house. Nope to small for me and to big yet for him.

pete3799 02-10-2011 01:20 PM

Went trough Bend,Or back in the early 80's. Struck me as a nice place to live.
Oh......and i'm a better skier then all of you put together.

Porsche-poor 02-10-2011 01:22 PM

Raised in Bend and its true you can't go back. I get lost every time I go back now. It has changed a great deal since the 80's.

Oh and I'll stay in the lodge and keep the bunny's warm..............
