I messed around with some MIDI stuff in the 90's, but it wasn't near that advanced (it couldn't manage the note-to-note transitions like a real guitar would). Anyway, my favorites are Page McConnell and Ben Folds: (Skip ahead to about 6:00 to get to the good stuff.) Ben Folds is the only guy I've ever seen reach into a piano and strum the piano strings by hand (though not in this song):
