Famous people who live/lived in your town
Stemming from the "rock stars you went to high school with..."
Famous folks who hailed from the Township of Wayne, NJ: Acting, etc. Alan Alda - actor (M*A*S*H) Kim Alexis - supermodel Tom Cruise - wacko actor - Risky Business, Top Gun, Mission Impossible...etc. Lisa Edelstein - TV actress Seinfeld (George Costanza's frustrated girlfriend), Mad about You, Wings...etc. Danielle Staub - cougar from "Real Housewifes of NJ" (IF you want to call that acdting...) Music: Dramarama - 80's alternative rock band LL Cool J - hip hop musician Queen Latifah Darry "DMC" Daniels Sports: Will Allen - starting defensive back, Miami Dolphins Brandon Jacobs - running back, NY Giants Jeff Rutledge - former QB, NY Giants Ryan Neil - defensive end, Buffalo Bills Rich Seubert - left guard, NY Giants Historical Figures: George Washington - fouding father - resided in the Dey Mansion during the Revolutionary War before the area was known as Wayne. Side note: The band, "Fountains of Wayne" got their name from a lawn ornament store located on Rt 46 in Wayne. This store closed up last year - apparently a victim of the poor economy. So - who lived in your city or town? -Z-man.

Port Huron, MI is where Thomas Edison spent most of his childhood and considered it his hometown. I was raised there as well.
A friend that I went to school with does guitar work for many TV shows and his wife has/had an a.m. talkshow in LA.

OK - this is strange -
I spent my late childhood and early adulthood in Passaic, NJ, and now I live in Wayne, NJ. There's a M*A*S*H connection for me: Loretta Switt lived in Passaic, NJ Alan Alda lived in Wayne, NJ Strange... -Z
