i need a featherboard before i turn the saw on again.

make them to suit your need and throw them out. They are not used too often, so why keep them around to take up space. You could get away with a jig saw and a piece of 1/2" ply wood. No need for a table saw for feather bd.

holds the work tight to the fence as you feed it into the blade.
