Former partner accidently....

Delivered his guilty confession today, in zero words. I knew what was going on, but could not get a honest answer face to face. I knew he was stealing from me, though.

Yesterday he gets a call and it's for a compressor I bought that he intended to hide from me and sell to a lady in California. He didn't get her money, and he has her on his ass.

I couldn't be more happy because I have the deposit for her transaction, but had nothing to do with it. I hope he keeps screwing up, I could use the money that was swindled previously. I didn't loose much out of the partnership money wise, but I like accuracy and the tax reports/items purchased don't lie.

I wouldn't do that. He's silently delivering anyhow.

Cut your losses and get away from him, or buy him out. You cannot move ahead while looking back at him. Anyone you cannot trust does not need to be on the payroll.

Very good advise.

"I hope he keeps screwing up.."

Not good thoughts. Move on.

I believe he is, like the title says, a former partner.

I just reread this.

He sold her a compressor that was yours. He was going to try and steal it from you. Got that.

But the money from the woman who thought she was legitimately (?) purchasing one wound up in your account?

So now she's after him for the compressor or her money back?

Not so sure about this one Matt.

I know you have been wronged but the woman does not owe you, your (former) partner does.

Don't get me wrong, not judging you and I don't have all the facts so admittedly could be way off base here but I'm not sure keeping her coin is the right thing to do.
