Been to Belgrade Lakes, Maine?
Just returned from a week at Great Pond in Maine.
I have to say it is some of the most beautiful cottage country I have seen. 1 week of hanging out, great food, good wine and great company. Did some hiking, boating, kayaking and looking into every open garage while driving in the countryside (from the road). Great place, I know I will go back next summer...

My old stomping grounds. Grew up in Norridgewock/ Skowhegan spent many a summer at my cousin's general store in Rome. Great place to visit but wouldn't want to live there again.
