Unexpected trip to the Porsche motherland...what are the "must sees"?
I just found out I'll be heading to Germany in a couple of weeks (flying in and back out of Munich) to meet up with my father, and will have 6 days with no obligations and a rental car, so can drive wherever. I was planning on going to BMW, and hopefully make it to Stuttgartand the Nurburgring. I'm planning on picking up a travel guide book, but could use some advice from the Pelican trust.
What else? Any "must see" sites (WWII, or architectural, or ???) or other points of interest that I should add to my list?

New Porsche Factory museum in Stuttgart - pics look amazing.
Then, get a factory tour - call or email the factory directly, ask for an English tour. Munich is a cool city, easy to walk around. There's a BMW museum there too.

Porsche, BMW and Mercedes Museums are great. The Ring on the "taxi".
