Two things spring to mind, (although I wasn't there): New M3= 400+hp and world-beating suspension, with equal drivers it would be a match for a new 997 GT3. Also, my old car is not going anywhere near its limits even w/ street tires. It doesn't even seem to be sliding.

My Ford is just some beater that I entertain myself with while I'm doing something to the 914.

When I was driving the 996, I had the tires howling.
It was a real handful at the limit. ( I exceeded it once ) :o

Ever noticed how you can get lap times from the digital picures?

what group were you running with/instructing for? It's been about a year since I have driven that track, so maybe next time you are instructing you can give me a heads up and I'll come out and drive.

You could teach me how to not get passed by clapped out old Ford Escorts ;)

The season is wrapping up ,but there a few dates left until next year.
