Anyone ever been to the Tokyo Auto Show.....worth it?

I'm considering going to the big 2009 Tokyo Auto Show late in October.
That's the main reason I would fly into Japan.

Has anyone else been to one of these?
And are they worth it?
I'll be in Thailand at the time, so the flight is only $460 and looks like I can get a hotel room within walking distance of the show sight for about $200/night.
It will cost me around $1000 to do it, so just wondering if it's worth it or not?

Guess there will be incredible concept cars to see (that never make it to the US), plus all the gorgeous car show babes.

It would be a once in a lifetime thing for me to do.
I'd promise to take lots of pics and post them right here at Pelican.....
