stolen ipod tracking?....
 

is there a way to track a stolen ipod through itunes? via ip address or whatever?

my sister in law brought her old ipod to give to my wife and it was in her suitcase, it is now gone, so someone at the airline or the hotel she stayed at over last weekend stole it......it was in one of the inside zipper pockets.....
f'ing scumbags......**** like this really pisses me off........

You are out of luck man - cant be done on the iPod.

If I lose my iPhone I can track it, find out where it is and even send messages to it even if its locked. If all else fails - I can remotely wipe it clean and disable (kill) it. I know this doesn't help you but pretty cool huh?

Check that - I just set up both of my iPod touch's through my 'mobile me' service but they must be in a wifi to be located.
