Similar thing happened to me. I learned about a client who had recently divorced his wife. She was hot, hot, hot and now had half of his millions. She was always flirty with me whenever I visited their home on service calls. Instead of doing something obvious like sending flowers, I sent her an innocent message on Facebook (Hi, how's things?) as a feeler to see if she was interested.

She replies with a tirade about her ex, including his sexual inadequacies, etc., etc. And yes, she replied in the "public" section, not the private. Her teenage children were also members and I'm sure they went running to "Daddy" when they read it.

The sheet hit the fan after that one. Needless to say, the guy is no longer my client (and she was too embarrassed to see me again).
