Got a new Scatter gun
My grandparents gave me this Mossberg for as a gift for getting my Eagle Scout. They won it in an NRA raffle in 1987. They shot it very very little. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

I know that. I told grandpa that he was welcome to come out anytime we are shooting trap. My roommate looked at it and said "Dove season starts next week". Guess thats how it will be broken in.... :D

Not a hunter myself but I hear lots of stories at the shop, the #$%^'s must be hard to hit. Like one bird per box of shells or so. Hope you have a good hunt. Jim |
I've shot quite a few things but don't have any experience with dove. Going to shoot some clay Thursday just to learn the gun.

I leave the HD to my house mate. He is in the NG and has a better selection of HD weapons. |
Nothing wrong with using any pump shotgun for home defense lad. ;)

Very nice gift. Wish I had grandparents like that... My nicest hand me downs were an LC Smith 12 ga. and an old Winchester model 94. I hug them at night before bedtime...

I would have to check on the model number at home. Didn't bring the gun with me.

I'd hug the LC every night too if I had it. America's best shotgun. Well maybe except a Parker, but who the hell can afford one of those.
