Thinking of having my leather sectional refurbished - crazy?

I love my 15 y/o leather couch. The skins are in great condition but the foam is flattening. Have you ever had a piece of furniture refurbished? Have you ever heard of getting a couch done? Just wondering if I'm breaking new ground. I don't even know where to go or who'd do this job. I just know that I've seen nothing new that I'd like to have in my family room that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The new sectional I really like is a classic dark brown leather number on sale for 5Gs. Not willing to spend that kind of cash for a couch nowadays.

So, am I crazy? Where would one go to have a couch refurb'd? I thought uphostery shop but I don't need new skins, just foam and hardware.

Garage
An upholstery shop could easily do the foam replacement. We have had favorite furniture redone and it isn't all that expensive. If it's a good shop they will pick it up and return it.
