I never really get why anyone would buy a new truck other than a Ram Diesel now that they have a ridiculously durable 6 speed automatic. Sure back in the day with the RE series transmissions they would need rebuilds at 100K. Today, the Ram has a cummins and a 68RFE. This is as close to perfect as it gets. The Cummins is variable vane too. Unless I got some smoking good deal on a used truck, I wouldn't even test drive the Rams "competitors."

I get what you are saying, my grandpa was a DODGE fan, why can't we have it all cause I don't like the ram cab, but like the cummings diesel... don't like the way a Ford drives and gm didn't take care of me on my last truck
