Netgear FVS318 VPN and Windows 7

Been playing with Windows 7 and everything has been fine up until I tried to install my Netgear Prosafe VPN Client. I currently have it functioning great on XP and Vista rigs.

Netgear and/or Prosafe have not updated their driver for 7 yet.

In the meantime, anyone have any experience with the Netgear VPN's and other clients? I have read that the Netgear VPN is different than the typical Cisco stuff and the best solution is to use their own client.

Any ideas?

My work router is currently configured for use with the Netgear client and I am not looking to change the router settings, I need to use a different client on a Win 7 rig to connect to the existing settings on the FVS318.

If it is a standards based IPSEC client - Windows 7 probably can do that without an add on client.

Check that.
