Electronic readers -- which kind...
do you like...
Xmas is coming up. One's on my list, though I'm not sure which one. The Kindle or the other brands. Any thoughts?

I wanted to get my dad the Kindle since he loves to read so much, but I am holding off until I see what Apple does with their tablet. I didn't want to get him the Kindle only for him to really want the new Mac.

I got a Sony for Xmas last year and it has been great.
Good selection of books, long bat life, easy to read in low light (airplane) with old eyes. I have no ref for comparison so others will have to comment. |

One other thing, wife loves reading books using the Kindle app on her iPhone. if you have an iPhone, give the app a try.
