The union WRONG: ALPA
Ladies and gentlemen, might I introduce you to the Airline Pilots Association, also known as ALPA.
-This group, which purports itself as a democratic union, is anything but. They represent the pilot groups at Air Canada, AirTran, AirTransat, Air Wisconsin, Alaska, Aloha, American Eagle, ASTAR [aka DHL], ATA, Atlantic Southeast, Bearskin [?], Calm Air, CanJet, Capital Cargo, Champion Air, Colgan, Comair, CommuteAir, Continental, Delta, Evergreen, ExpressJet, Fedex, First Air, Freedom, Gemini, Hawaiian, Independence Air [dead....hello?] Island air, Kelowna Flight Craft, Mesa, Mesaba, Midwest Airlines, Piedmont, Pinnacle, PSA, Ryan, Skyway, Spirit, Sun-country, Trans-States, United, and "Wasaya", whatever that last is. Last night, on a pilot website, I posted my frustration regarding how little ALPA regarded the strike at Amerijet, a cargo airline represented by the Teamsters union. The result today: I am BANNED at www.airlinepilotcentral.com! The union known as ALPA is one of the most corrupt in the history of unions, and it works like a business: If your pilot group makes money, then you get what you want. If your airline is paying more aggregate dues than the regional airline that serves your company....if ANY dispute between the two pilot groups comes up then the group paying the most dues SUDDENLY WINS. No matter which contract was more correct....the group that pays the most wins! Scum. S C U M S C U M S C U M! [I've already pounded the wall on this one] -You know what brings this out? Well, that filth website "airlinepilotcentral.com", had a thread where they talked about the Amerijet strike. I made a post where I talked about how horrid scabs were, but also how I think that ALPA gives no leadership whatsoever when it comes to non-ALPA airlines going on strike. I had to make a post detailing that I would walk-off other than to carry "struck-freight" before the magnificent union known as "ALPA" would even comment on the matter! What the hell? -My opinion: ALL of the union leaders have been castrated and reduced to eunuchs. None of them have any thing between their legs, and rely upon rubber appliances to please their significant others. They are ALL on the take, and they will give into the company during the next negotiations via dollars in Cayman Islands bank accounts. I am a HUGE union supporter. But I am on the verge of asking my company to withhold my monthly union dues. I am utterly disgusted, and I think that website is totally under the control of: 1. The company 2. The "union". N! PS: This is not a "Porsche" specific post. I'm going to forward it to the head of our union, since I was "kicked off" of the pilot website. |
Normy, can you link the thread which resulted in your ban so we can learn a little more?
|
Oh my, my oh my,
"[I've already pounded the wall on this one]" Just the wall? My oh my. |

Gotta love that unfettered Capitalism model. Everything has a price, and some people think that's the way it should work. |
I am always baffled by union supporters.....a union only benefits itself, no one else.....
|
Wow. I cannot believe Normy would ever say anything to warrant getting banned from an internet discussion site. Not the Normy we all know and love.
|
Normy got banned. Imagine that.
What did you do? Show up in crotchless chaps? |

Ask Tabby how long he was allowed to stay on the Ferrari board...:D

Think ALPA is bad, you should see how the Teamsters Airline Division is...

Normy writes a relatively reasoned, thoughtful rant. And it doesn't include pictures? Damn.
Anyway I've said it before and I'll say it again- the union does not represent workers or employees. They ostensibly represent their own members but will always favor their own management over the members they purportedly represent. They will work in collusion with companies to favor their own management and enrich themselves rather than their members (I have personally seen the Teamsters do this and couldn't believe it at the time). We have seen a HUGE movement by companies into right to work states. No one should be forced to do something they don't want to do- that includes paying union dues. No company should be forced to pay more than a reasonable rate for labor. Normy I'm sure you voted for Obama. Surely you know by now that he will do everything he can to enrich the unions because (and only because) they enrich him. Nothing's changed, there is no "hope" and special interests and the corrupt continue to rule. I suspect the kool aid is starting to taste a little bitter. |

heh heh! N! PS: I really do have a nice, naturally nearly hairless butt. Most of my women have flipped me over and grabbed my rear with both hands. I like that. But then they examine everything. I don't mind the former, but I've never cared for females examining the later. When I say "everything", I am talking about my digestive vent. You know, my... I hate that! Girls are so proper, yet they always want to do that. Why- N! |
Whoa! WTMI!!!!
