Yep, absolutely.

I got hit with a ricochet at the range 2 weeks ago after a 9mm corbon hit the back stop and came straight back at me. I still have a nice bruise/cut on my chest where it hit....and that was just a ricochet.

Actually, I have seen a show or something with a type of bulletproof material that acts sort of like this stuff. Malleable/flexible normally, but gets stiff when hit with a quick hard hit.
