Is this Facebook spam... or a hijack... or both?

This appeared on our FB wall with our FB name first, then one of those triangles pointing to the right, then one of our FB friends' names (triangles represented by >):
_______ Our FB Name > Our Friend's FB Name > Hey, please tell me why you aren't buckling with excitement over this?: http://hex.io/1ged You Will BE! _______ Then right below it, it says 17 SIMILAR POSTS and when I click on that, it's the very same thing as above with our FB name in front, and it shows it has been sent to 17 of our friends. What's the deal? I'm thinking it would not be smart to click on that link, so I haven't... and posted a question on our wall saying I don't know how it got sent or what it is and does anyone know how it could've happened? |

Only guessing that your friend has all their permissions set to "allow". Someone spammed your friend and it showed up on yours.

But how could it have now made the jump to where we are sending it to 18 of our friends?
And we have 9 that it didn't go to. |

BTW, I should say that we've been on FB for less than 6 months, and I only vaguely know what is meant by "set to allow"... I assume it lets friends' wall postings go to your wall.
I don't even know how our account is set in that regard, but will check. |
