Wow, that's priced very well. It's getting damn hard to find an original GTi that isn't trashed or rusted out. I'd say good luck, but you shouldn't need it.

Almost bought a mk1 a few months ago, on the cheap. I probably should have considering the insane price, but I have too many cars as it is.

One of the cleanest I have seen in a long time.
I bought a new 84 (white) when I was in college. Great car, tons of fun, high reving....
Miss it and would consider this one if I had the space...
