There was a segment on late night news last night about the Mount Wilson transmitters in danger of being 'burned up' in the Station Fire in LaLaLand.
If they went comms in LaLaLand would be drastically affected. No local news. Cell phone service drop-outs. Text and data services slow or non-existant. Police and fire comms with service area blackouts. It sounded like a return to paradise to me. To the way I remember Lalaland. |
