need some photoshop help

i have no experience with photoshop but if someone else does and can lend a hand i would appreciate it. i am debating a respray on the car, same color, and was wondering what it would look like with the wheels color match (but still silver lip). if anyone can do that please let me know. here is the car in question.

And how to do it?

Open the picture in an image manipulation program - PhotoShop & variants (many digital cameras include software), MS Image Composer is another etc etc.

Choose color from the car body. Avoid highlights & darks - grab a color that looks like it has similar tone.

Change the opacity to 30% or so & paint the section with a suitably sized brush. You will have to play with opacity or double paint it. It is often helpful to zoom to a large size for fine detail like the Fuchs paddles or to edge around the painted crest as above.

Or you can just ask on the internet . . . ;)

I kinda like the colored rims. Both look good though.

You should reshoot that on 35mm.

Just sayin'...

hell i didn't even take that pic it was one of the ones in the ad for the car. i have zero photography skills. the only thing i have to take pictures of on a regular basis are houses and they don't require any skill or detail.

and i pick option 2, ask the internet. thanks internet.
