SOT: Question about wheels

I have a pair of 15x7 phone dial rims. They're in good shape, no tires on them. I believe they have a 928 part number, but not sure off of the top of my head.

I've tried to sell these things, and no one even nibbles. I'd trade them or take almost next to nothing (like $30 total) just to be rid of them, with no response.

They're not bad rims. I know the phone dials aren't all that popular, but for what I am asking, it am amazed no one wants these.

Should I be looking at selling them for scrap metal? What could even expect to get for them?

I'd hate to toss them, but I am at a loss of what to do with them otherwise and I want them gone.

I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

I just bought a set recently for $100 total... for track use. They have horrible paint but not curb rash.

A set with good paint and no curb rash should sell for around 200-225$ if they are late offset. Maybe slightly less for early offset.

928 sets may be strange offset. I know some early 928's had 6" wide PD's, not 7. These are less popular. The 924S also came with 6" wide, late offset PD's. They are often swapped out for 7" wide late 944 PD's. These work on 911's though, and are good for SC's needing a 205 size tire.

They should be worth at least $100, but may just take time to find a buyer. Have you posted in the 944 classifieds yet? Being in CA they should go quick.
