No Joy in Oklahoma

Just upset by BYU, and Oklahoma's QB is out for at least 3-4 weeks. Thrilling game to watch. This the first top 10 team to get knocked off this weekend???

Haha I love it. And OState thumped Georgia. I hate OU so much... The fans are such snobs. Honestly the worst.

I'm sure the lads of BYU were happy they could bring some joy into your life. ;)

Not to take anything away from BYU, but it appears that the OU defense was not as advertised. Their offense is obviously totally reliant on Bradford, not a good thing.

On the Big 12 upside it appears that OSU can actually play defense, that's a huge win for that program.

They can't be any worse than UT fans....

The UT-OU game is a snob fest.

Fortunatley, I'm an Aggie and my Dad is a Cowboy. My oldest sister is a Tsip.

I am pleased as punch to see OU get beat - FU OU!!

Go Mizzou!!

Annihilated Illinois yesterday 37-9.

When OU was here to play the 03 Rose Bowl, we ran into them at of all places, Disneyland. What an arrogant lot.

Ohio state nearly got knocked off by Navy. NAVY!
They were lucky to come away with a win, Pryor is not a quarterback.
He's a great athlete but not a quarterback. Pinning their hopes on him was a huge mistake. I doubt they'll be ranked in the top 10 come Monday and probably won't be in the top 25 after losing badly to USC.

USC used only about 10 different plays to roll over an over-matched San Jose state, SC played it very close to the vest to protect their prodigy QB from embarrassment and to keep from tipping their hand to Ohio state. Next week should be a blowout.

Funny thing: in the 4th quarter Aaron Corp went 4 for 4 and threw for a touchdown but the beauty queen is still the starting QB after throwing 3 and 4 yard passes all day (with long runs after the catch). I'm surprised ESPN hasn't handed Barkley the Heisman already. I wish they'd get his genitals out of their mouth so they could actually watch the game. I told them exactly that yesterday in an e-mail. Bet it never made it to the in-box.

THE BIG NEWS OF THE DAY:

The mighty LSU (ranked #11 coming into this game) from the mighty SEC barely squeaked out a win against the worst team in the PAC-10 (The 2008 Huskies were the first 0-12 team in PAC-10 conference history and the only team in the country to finish the 2008 season without a victory. from wiki )
How could that be?
LSU has to rely on several turn-overs to barely beat a PAC-10 team that didn't win a single game last year and often gave up 40 or 50 points per game? If LSU is still in the top 20 after that performance something is wrong.
I don't get it. Everyone knows the SEC is invincible and the PAC-10 is over-rated.
We've heard too many times how LSU would roll over USC, but they struggle to get past Washington?
Obviously Washington has improved since last year (thanks in part to the former USC coach).
If LSU is still in the top 20 after that performance something is wrong.

While we're at it, did anyone see that Tennessee game? Wow, they scored 63 points under their new coach. I think his name is Lane Kiffin or something like that. Didn't he coach at USC at one time? Yes, I think he did.

Penn state won on a yawner against nobody, another 12 or 13th ranked PS team. Not bad but not great.

Notre Dame look allot better than they have recently but they still have a long way to go. A really good team should still beat them up.

Georgia didn't look good at all in their loss to OK state. They'll drop like a rock in the rankings.

Florida looked pretty good against Charleston southern high school.

Is that "Cowboy" as in U of Wyoming?

red-beard 09-06-2009 08:46 AM

tcar 09-06-2009 09:30 AM

It's a damn fine engineering school. Don't have pharmacy or I would be attending. I hate OU so I went to SWOSU. Has a better pharm school anyways/
