Hey Bell. What ya think of these subs?
And what amp should I run with em?
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575P1S48/Rockford-Fosgate-P1S48.html?tp=111 Going to put them in the "chubs" behind the wheels in a custom box. I want to hide the amp under the seat. |

They're decent, just make sure the box has the correct internal volume....
Keep it sealed (not ported) as it'll handle more power/abuse that way. Buy a name brand amp, and you should be good, at least 300 watts..... If the subs are 4ohm get a mono (1 channel) amp made specifically for subs, if you can get 8ohm subs a 2 channel amp bridged will work.

So would this suffice? I think it would fit under my seat. |

For reference, there is some great subwoofer box design tools on this page:

Yea that blau should work fine, get 2 4ohm subs so it'll see 2ohms and will do the 300 watts.....
The sub enclosure is very important for output at the right frequencies, so check the specs and do the math when you build something....
