Incomprehensible.

I don't get it. He was on PAROLE from a 2nd degree murder rap and commits another crime while on parole, yet he is still free to shoot this girl? WTF is he doing on the street after a parole violation? Who let him out? Why do we even have a police force if the judiciary gives criminals a hall pass?

HardDrive 09-10-2009 09:34 PM

Horrible....and enraging.

Keep electing liberals...who appoint liberal judges. In Oregon, Judges run on a non partisan platform...those that run for office. By law, none are allowed to state their political views.

Rope is cheaper than a bullet and you can re-use it.

m21sniper 09-11-2009 05:03 AM

Yes but bullet purchases stimulate the economy.

Another clear indication that the hand-wringing ninnies are winning. Our friends the bleeding heart nincompoop liberal fee-good morons cry compassion for the offender, but none whatsoever for the victims. Thanks entirely to these mindless douchbags, our criminals now have far too many rights and our courts are far too lenient with them. Even violent criminals are portrayed as "victims" of society, race, sexual preference, gender, or whatever fits at the moment. These violent criminals are coddled and cajoled by our vapid liberal nit wits, who seek to "better understand" them, in an effort to emphathise with them. All the while the victim toll continues to rise.

Conservatives are far better at dealing with miscreants and thugs. We either lock them up, hang or electrocute them, or simply shoot them before it gets that far. We have no burning desire to "understand" them, beyond understanding that they are dangerous and have given up any and all rights to any sort of sympathy. We will err on the side of protecting our families and especially our little children from them. It's pure, pragmatic common sense. That seems to be entirely lacking today in our judicial system. And we all know who to thank...

If we are going to start with to political mud slinging move it to PARF. Why can't a tragedy like this be viewed as a tragedy without all of the political crap?

+1!

It's f*****s like this murdered that deserve to be shot. Let's just say, I'd enjoy shooting a person who did such a sick thing, and I wouldn't think twice about it. I'd enjoy watching him get hung.

Does the story state that the judge in oxpatch was liberal? In oxpatch? Really? I went to school just norf of there and I can't imagine any liberal judges.
